About Bruno Triplet

Bruno Triplet was born in Versailles, France but has spent most of his life in England before settling in Switzerland. As such, his background is a composite of many places and cultures and so are his creative inspirations. Labels are something he has always avoided.

After several years in high-fashion, he eventually set up his own design company spearheading the "contemporary" look for a more simple, pure and subtle style of home decoration.

His restrained yet sensual approach delivered a small collection of pared down textiles in refined shades and tactile textures. Gradually this collection has grown into an impressive range, divided into three labels and is evolving constantly. There is nothing opportunistic or random in his approach but a gradual development to achieve a whole.

From the moment he set up his company, he has never accepted the prevailing norms and rules of an industry more prone to trends and profitability than creativity and elegance and he has often turned his back on it. World of Interiors described him once as the "enfant terrible" of interior design but essentially his work is dictated by discretion, privacy and individuality.

His strong sense of colour, inspired by so many sources, times and places and his preferences for discrete yet luxurious textures have set him apart from the beginning. Focused and determined never to compromise on quality, his preference to work with traditional methods of weaving and to establish long lasting relationships with smaller mills has been an inspired choice. He is also noted for listening to his faithful clients while encouraging them towards new ideas.

bruno triplet noir is the most definitive collection and the largest with its wide range of luxurious textures and fabulous colours. It is a sophisticated, elegant and cosmopolitan look fit for the most prestigious interior projects, with every season the addition of new textures in the established colourways and new shades so the collection grows and evolves constantly to form a stunning collection of contemporary classics.

bruno triplet CRUISE is a new collection inspired by exotic travels and distant cultures, concentrating on vibrant colours and rich textures. It runs along the main noir collection but in ber tones and exude the enticing emotions of far away places.

bruno triplet basics

bruno triplet BASICS is a more relaxed collection of textiles made essentially of linens and cottons of the highest quality. Natural shades and subtle earthy colours in these plain textured textiles complement perfectly the other collections.

pleated panels

Our range of pleated panels is produced by hand in a traditional method used for decades in high fashion, using our light silks or linens in over twelve designs.
The panels can be used for walling to stunning effect, but equally cushions, throws or tablecloths. The wide range of colours and the choice of many different textures offer a truly bespoke choice.

bespoke cushions

Our bespoke cushions are produced individually in our in-house production department with the same care and attention to detail as our textiles. The best feather and dawn cushion pads are used, cotton satin lining, matching zips to our textiles are sewn invisibly. We offer many different designs, the inclusion of pleated panels, embroidery or even fur.
Our flexibility and choice are beyond all expectations and provide an exceptional service to our discerning clientele, drawn by quality, individuality and excellent service.

Often overlooked and produced quickly and cheaply, cushions are the final touch by which an entire room may be assessed, and one of the first tactile encounters. "God is in the details" was a favourite quote of Ludwig Mies Van der Rohe.
